The post of President of the NSSC must not be taken lightly, as doing so is tantamount to taking our High School lives the same. We cannot approach and overcome 21st century student related challenges, with 20th century worn out dogmas and idle fluff. We must continually be advancing, instead of only grasping at ideas and catchy rhymes from the past in a pathetic bid to win votes. Today I say to you my friend, enough! This moment, this election, is our time to show our country how much of a difference we are prepared to make.
Change does not come from the NSSC, change comes to the NSSC. Change happens because you demand it.
"Friends, I am encouraging you to believe. Not just in my ability to bring about real change in the NSSC, but to believe in yours.
I have come to the fore to serve you amidst raging seas and gathering clouds. Still I am not dismayed, as my HOPE for us all stands triumphantly over fear.
Join me in our campaign my friends, as we seek to chart a new and better course for us all.
We have a job to do, lets get it done. Unity of purpose over conflict and discord, hope and vision over fear and pessimism. And in the words of scripture, “hold firmly, without wavering, to the HOPE that we confess.
“A year ago I stood before you and spoke of my dream for us all. That dream my friend has not dwindled, in fact, it has evolved into something even greater. I do not bring to the fore a magic wand that will solve all our problems. Still, I can, you can, youth can achieve greatness, and though the journey may prove long and treacherous even, with your cooperation and participation, it will be done, my friend, you have my word, we will achieve greatly for us all.
It is time to radically and positively change the face of the NSSC and that is why I’m running for President.
