JERMAINE ANDERSON

Vote for me Because:

"If my mind can conceive it and my heart can believe it, I know I can achieve it" (Mahatma Gandhi) NSSC, as a result oriented man of my word, I will not promise what I cannot deliver. The NSSC is an organization that needs innovative and fresh ideas that will move the council forward. Gone are the days when we will not be making full use of the technological advances, because they are vital components to the smooth operation of this organization. NSSC you need a PRO that is a visionary and an innovator, that is why your best choice for this position is Jermaine Anderson.

On a Mission........with a Vision!!!

  •  Liaising with colleagues and key spokespeople; in order to effectively respond to enquiries from the media, individuals and other organisations, often via telephone and email;
  • Preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes;
  • Maintaining and updating information on the organisation's website
  • Sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities
  • To create a medium through which students can voice their concerns in a public forum, by creating a weekly publication entitled "Tell me NSSC" in the Gleaner’s Youthlink and the Observer's TEENage; as well as on the council’s website.
  • To ensure that the NSSC P.R.O committee is able to ensure the timely dissemination of information, whilst addressing both Regional and National issues.
  • To have up-to-date photographs of all the Executive members of the NSSC, as well as all officers for the purpose of the media and the councils website.
  • Creating  a closed-user group, within which all the regional Secretaries/PROs are apart.
  • Make the NSSC website more user-friendly and relevant to all students, by highlighting outstanding and dedicated councilors from all regions.
  • Introducing the NSSC's song and mascot, which will be aimed at bringing a new dynamic to promoting events/ ventures of the NSSC.
  • To introduce the NSSC pin by February 2010, thereby creating a means by which the rest of Jamaica can identify us.
